We are recruiting for our North America region where you'll be joining a growing team of nearly 150 people based from our New York and Chicago offices. Consultants based in the USA will support clients across the Americas with opportunity to travel globally. Our consultants provide flexible support to clients whether it is a rapid assessment, short term savings realisation or embedding in a long-term partnership to deliver lasting and measurable value to clients.

We are looking to hire NYC-based consultants who will focus on delivering results to teams in the Technology sector. This role is an excellent growth opportunity for someone who is looking to carve out a role that combines technical competency with solid business skills.

Our consultants work as trusted advisers to business leaders who are looking to manage costs & implement transformations to remain competitive in the rapidly evolving software space. They are responsible for driving global initiatives with FinOps teams around cloud optimization, managing the budget, and COGS improvement.

What will you be doing?

  • Interfacing and building relationships with broad, cross-functional client teams to present and deliver cost savings opportunities
  • Developing analytics offerings to help technical teams develop metrics to understand the performance and forecast evolution of their COGS spend and margin
  • Owning the client cost savings initiative roadmap and driving internal and external stakeholder activity
  • Driving decision-making to propel results and achieve margin objectives
  • Developing and staying up to date with services & savings opportunities available in the cloud space - you will be speaking to skilled engineers & engineering team leaders
  • Working with our analytics delivery team to build scalable solutions that we can deploy & distribute across clients

    • Experience working in a fast-moving environment that combines stakeholder management with skills in analytics
    • Strong skills in SQL and comfort dealing with data at scale
    • A strong and proven track record of building robust analytic models
    • Experience delivering global change & improvement initiatives, either internal or external
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • The ability to manage your own time and the time of your team - ability to manage multi-faceted initiatives
    • Strong interest in and experience in the Technology space
    • Interest in hyperscale cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
    • Experience working with technical teams with an understanding of the roles & structure of a technical organization
