Ian joined Efficio in 2004 from A.T. Kearney, and has led many procurement programs across key industry sectors. He has a reputation for leading teams in conducting Opportunity Assessments, and Procurement Transformation projects, delivering measurable savings, and embedding essential procurement skills across multiple sites and countries.

Career
Ian has over 25 years’ experience in procurement, both in industry and consulting. Ian began his career in the white goods industry before moving to A.T. Kearney and then Efficio. He has a BA, BAI in Engineering from Trinity College in Dublin and an MBA from Cardiff Business School.
Ian is an Irish national, and speaks English, Irish and French.
Quite simply, Ian delivers. He was the lead consultant in our Global Procurement Transformation Program, and was absolutely instrumental in its success. Quite aside from his deep subject matter expertise, he brings enormous leadership and organizational skills. He has vision, drive and energy, together with great integrity.

- Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Transformation – energy grid company: Provided a range of support models, including Strategic Sourcing, Procurement Transformation, and Target Operating Model development, delivering measurable business benefits through innovative category approaches, training, resource augmentation, and deployment of new methodologies
- Shared Services Procurement and Category Management – police services: Supported the set-up of a shared services Procurement organization across four police services. Led a three-wave Strategic Sourcing program addressing major areas of spend, driving category management practices across the organization
- Process and Methodology Training – multiple clients: Developed ‘tell-show-do’ approach to embed new processes and methodologies with client teams across multiple sectors
