Efficio's vice-president promotions recognise international growth efforts

Efficio, the global procurement consultancy headquartered in London, announces the promotions of David Mooney and Peter Weisse to vice-president.

David is a highly experienced procurement consultant with particular experience in supply chain management. He has worked internationally throughout his career including in Europe, the Middle East and Africa for IBM/PWC, as well as at Tullow Oil, where he was the group supply chain manager responsible for a team of 450 supply chain management professionals with an annual spend of $2 billion across 22 countries.

David has been Efficio’s regional head of business for the Middle East since 2015, successfully developing strategic relationships with clients in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia and reinforcing Efficio’s reputation as recognised experts in procurement and local content.

Peter joined Efficio in 2005 and rose through the ranks, driving large complex international projects across the UK, Nordics, Germany, Eastern Europe and China, among others. He has also worked as interim chief procurement officer and head of managed services for several large companies across a range of sectors including hospitality, manufacturing and utilities.

Peter is playing an instrumental role in establishing and growing the German practice, which is now the company’s second-largest and fastest-growing market.
