Efficio, the world’s largest global procurement consultancy, is proud to announce two members of the management team have been awarded Supply & Demand Chain Executive’s first ‘Women in Supply Chain Awards 2020.’
The winners, Isabel Fernandez, Senior Manager, and Pauline Potter, Manager, have been recognised for their accomplishments, mentorship and examples that have set a foundation in all levels of their respective supply chain networks.
With more than 20 years’ experience, Isabel has developed a track record of identifying and delivering on major process enhancements, leading teams to unlock significant, additional margin improvement opportunities for clients on a global scale. Since joining Efficio, Isabel has been an instrumental member of the internal Supply Chain Expert Practice, which comprises consultants with deep expertise in various supply chain functions who are specially deployed to support the identification and implementation of supply chain improvements in client projects.
Joining Efficio in 2017, Pauline, also a member of the Supply Chain Expert Practice, has risen through the ranks at pace, leading Efficio clients’ teams to deliver rapid improvement projects though supply chain, procurement and working capital optimisation. She has been a strong advocate for gender diversity initiatives over the years, ensuring that equal opportunities are presented to her team, as well as supporting and coaching the women at Efficio to develop the right skills to progress. Pauline is one of Efficio’s lead trainers for both internal and client training sessions.
We are so pleased to see Isabel and Pauline both receiving the recognition they deserve for their exceptional efforts and contributions to the industry.
Isabel brings a total focus on her clients and their success to all the projects she works on. This, combined with a rigour and energy to get the job done, has made her much in demand for clients dealing with complex challenges that need quick resolution.
Pauline has been an integral cornerstone on the team building our Sustainability and Environmental Social and Corporate Governance (ESG) practice. Her intellect, knowledge and focus on consistent improvement makes her a consultant who excels in supporting our clients’ successes.
Supply & Demand Chain Executive, the only magazine in the supply chain industry covering the entire global supply chain that focusses on ROI, professional development and change management, celebrated its 20-year anniversary with the introduction of this new award.
Marina Mayer, editor-in-chief of Supply & Demand Chain Executive and Food Logistics, said: “We received over 200 entries for this new award, entries that were submitted from a combination of men and women. This proves that our industry needed an award like this.”
She adds, “According to Gartner’s 2020 Women in Supply Chain Survey, 17% of chief supply chain officers are now women – a 6% increase compared to 2019. This award resembles females supporting other female leaders; men supporting their female counterparts. It resembles the future. It represents growth, evolution and community. And, that future shows that it’s a great time to be a part of the supply chain industry. So, congratulations to these top female leaders. I look forward to seeing what else you do to grow the supply chain industry.”
Supply & Demand Chain Executive received more than 200 entries for its newly launched Women in Supply Chain award.
