Efficio, the procurement and supply chain experts, is delighted to announce the appointment of Gareth Williams as Chief Product & Technology Officer to lead our global product and technology development teams.
Gareth’s career has spanned a vast range of high-growth B2B technology companies, including early stints in product management leadership at both Orange and Experian, before running the product management division of VC-backed Arieso and contributing to its successful exit to the US company, JDSU. This allowed Gareth the opportunity to scratch his entrepreneurial itch by founding Yellow Dog, which developed technology to help businesses source large-scale cloud computing services around the world.
More recently, Gareth was Managing Director, Product at Helastel, creator of a no-code development platform that enables businesses to create custom web applications without any coding knowledge.
Gareth’s entrepreneurial passion for innovation, “simplifying the complex”, and solving problems that make a real difference for businesses, led him to Efficio, which presents an extraordinary opportunity to nurture eFlow, our proprietary procurement technology platform. He’s equally passionate about the opportunity to make a significant impact by helping our customers buy products and services more sustainably, ethically, and with access to the right combination of data, knowledge, insights, and cutting-edge technology.
We are very pleased to announce the expansion of our senior leadership team with this vital new role. Gareth’s deep knowledge and technical product development and management experience will help us transform eFlow and embed its limitless potential into procurement practices around the globe. We are confident that Gareth is the right person to help us deliver exactly that, and we are delighted to have him on board.
When he’s not immersed in technology, Gareth unplugs by spending time with his 9-year-old, Noah, and 8-year-old, Catlyn. He’s an avid reader and a keen cyclist, eager to participate in Team Efficio’s bicycle trek from London to Paris later this year.
