The future of automation in Procurement

In a recent article in Supply Chain Magazine, Efficio’s Nordic management team: Jesper Schade and Christo Zeller, give their opinion on how adaptability and a user-friendly interface are key for the successful implementation of eProcurement platforms.

As Christo points out, just because something is available does not mean that it is necessarily right – one must understand the integral problems within the company to ensure that the suggested solution is the best option. With e-procurement in particular, it is important that this new tool will support and develop the existing procedures, rather than work against them.

Jesper adds to this saying that Danish companies are required to push their digitalisation and more actively integrate their eProcurement platforms to ensure they can retain their competitiveness. Therefore the software needs to be easy to integrate as well as being device and user friendly.
