The Future Procurement Leaders Network event is an interactive workshop series for those establishing their careers in procurement and supply chain. These events provide a unique opportunity to network and engage with your peers around key procurement topics.
This session will be presented by Andrew Lin, Procurement Manager for Labour Services at Tesco. Andrew read Chinese and History at the University of Edinburgh, graduating in 2020. He joined the Tesco Business Graduate Programme in 2021, with his first placement in supply chain. He then moved to Procurement where he led multiple sourcing projects across corporate, distribution, and retail categories, as well as supporting the Procurement technology transformation programme. Since 2023, Andrew has managed the security, stock take, and stock accuracy labour service categories, all of which play an important role in mitigating the £1.3bn of stock loss faced by UK retailers per year.
Key discussion points will include the following:
- Procurement organisation structures
- Skills for effective category management
- Leveraging tools and technology to deliver value
