Transforming the sourcing function
In a changing business environment, with new commercial models, technology disruption and global trade implications; there is a need to continuously evolve the sourcing function to stay on top and acquire the needed competences. Fredrik will open the evening's discussion with his experince of how Ericsson has been transforming its sourcing function, creating sustainable business value through reinforced global category management, to leverage spend across markets and business areas to drive competitive pricing, while ensuring leading technology and on-time delivery. The goal is to build a world-class sourcing organisation, with a one-team spirit and a much deeper category expertise, globally.

About the speaker
Fredrik has led the transformation of sourcing for Ericsson across all markets, to more efficiently address its sourcing challenges related to the company’s key business priorities. During his lenghty career as a sourcing executive, Fredrik gained a reputation within, and won awards for being, "Top Sales Professional within Services and Outsourcing", at Ericsson. On the side, Fredrik has been mentoring and providing lectures in strategic sourcing for students in supply chain, at Stockholm University and at One Academy, Stockholm.
