Due to this growth, Efficio is seeking a qualified tax manager to join the team and support the finance department in managing tax operations and compliance across our UK, US, MENA, and European operations. Role Overview

We are seeking a qualified tax manager to support the finance team in managing tax operations and compliance across our UK, US, MENA, and European operations. Reporting to the Head of Tax, the ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of tax principles, regulations, and best practices.

Core Responsibilities
 
Tax Compliance: Oversee the preparation and submission of tax returns, ensuring compliance with direct and indirect tax regulations across multiple jurisdictions. Manage compliance portfolio including tax filings, payments and monitoring forecasts. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.
Tax Planning: Develop and implement tax strategies to optimise the company’s tax position. Provide tax advice and support to the business on various projects and transactions.
Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of tax-related financial reports and tax forecasts. Input into quarterly transfer pricing management accounts and review outputs in line with group transfer pricing policies. Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to management.
Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve tax processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Implement best practices and standard operating procedures.
Integration: Work closely with the HR, Finance, and IT departments to ensure seamless integration of tax systems with other business processes.

Required Skills

Experience: Demonstrate experience in processing, overseeing, and/or managing tax operations.

Qualifications
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with some experience in tax or Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA qualification).
• Relevant experience in tax operations and compliance, ideally with some experience dealing with international aspects including cross border transactions and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of OECD tax principles and regulations.
• Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
