We are looking to hire a self-motivated Operations Associate (“OA”) to join the Mexico City office. The OA will assist in the smooth running of the local operations and get involved in many aspects of the firm. We are looking for a bright, proactive, and resourceful individual who enjoys working collaboratively across teams and making things happen. This is a very exciting time to join Efficio as we are set for further expansion and growth. This role requires a well-rounded operation professional interested in growing with the firm. You will have some work experience in operations, ideally in a multi-functional role within professional services. You will be creative, work on your own initiative and be adaptable and flexible regarding the varied work and opportunities involved.

  • Must be fluent in English and Spanish
  • Must have the right to work in Mexico
  • Strong academic background 
  • IT literate, proficiency with MS Office required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams and Zoom).

  • Strong communicator with the ability to build solid professional relationships with stakeholders of all levels 
  • Ability to identify issues and proactively come up with solutions

  • Wen wir suchen:

    Key Responsibilities:
     
    Operations and office management:
    • Overseeing the office space, forming good working relationships with suppliers, initiating trust and cohesion
    • Supporting with the search for new office space as we grow; working with property brokers, business service offices and landlords – strong negotiation skills
    • Office/building relationship management
    • Liaise with IT and inventory management
    • Organise events both externally (universities etc.) and internally (e.g. socials, dinners, end of month event) to ensure the Efficio culture and values are embodied

    HR & Recruitment Support:
    • Review and organise recruitment events, e.g. career fair attendance, and graduate events.
    • Support with onboarding of new joiners
    • Support the payroll process and coordinate it with external provider.

    Staffing & Training (Potentially if Employee Has Interest and Capacity):
    • Liaise with Efficio Academy team to schedule trainings.
    • Liaise with project PMs to identify training needs for Lisbon team.
    • Liaise with Staffing team to support with best solutions for the current team and new joiners.
